Josh Lamkin | Blues
With music burning with soulfull passion, and rock and roll fire, Josh Lamkin delivers high energy original music, and an array of blues, soul, and funk covers to audiences across the country. He took 1st place at the Suncoast Blues Challenge at skippers smokehouse in 2010, and then advanced to the semi finals in the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis in 2011. Lamkin's skills as a guitarist belie his youth. His fiery bottleneck slide work echoes the Delta-influenced blues of Elmore James, Johnny Winter and Ry Cooder The raw talent and musical prowess Lamkin brings to every live show cannot be ignored. His debut album was released in March of 2011, and is available for purchase at all live shows. Josh Lamkin is a proud member of the Suncoast Blues Society.

A professional musician for more than 30 years, Brown was born and raised in Baltimore, and moved to Tampa in 1980. Brown played with Blackstar, which scored a local hit with "Animal Attraction" and toured Japan in The Precision Band. He has opened for Howard Hewitt, Roger & Zapp and Stephanie Mills, and has shared the stage with Al Green, Clarence Clemons, Christopher Cross, Earth Wind & Fire, Keith Sweat, Ronnie Earl, Lucky Peterson, Little Milton and Percy Sledge.
